When to use this

Read this when you are choosing video length, aspect ratio, or quality for AI-generated ads in Operations — before you say “generate.”

Supported video lengths

Allowed final lengths:

**Single generate:** **4**, **6**, or **8** seconds (default **8**).

**Extended (generate + one +7s extend):** **11** (4+7), **13** (6+7), or **15** (8+7).

Rules:

  • Extend always adds **exactly +7** seconds to the base clip.
  • There is **no native 12s** (or any other length outside the list above).
  • Do not recommend lengths outside **4, 6, 8, 11, 13, 15**.

Recommended defaults

Choose from the allowed list based on **goal and placement**. Examples (not hard locks):

| Goal | Example length | |------|----------------| | Meta Reels / Stories / TikTok short hook | **8 seconds**, **9:16** | | More room for product + CTA beats | **15 seconds** (8 + extend), **9:16** | | Faster draft / lower credit use | **6 seconds**, **9:16** | | Shortest clip | **4 seconds**, **9:16** |

Operations should list short and extended options, then wait for your pick before render.

Ask for **HQ** (standard quality) when you want the higher-quality video model. Fast mode is available when you prioritize speed over fidelity.

Extended lengths cost more credits (base generate + one extend). Buy credit packs anytime if included credits run out.

On-screen text

Goatzilla **can** bake short headlines or CTAs into AI video if you want in-frame copy.

  • Prefer **short** copy (a few words).
  • Long headlines, multi-line CTAs, or full sentences often come out misspelled — Operations should warn you before render.
  • You can also add or fix copy in your own editor/export tools after download. Goatzilla does not ship a full text-overlay design editor.

Images

AI image generation supports common ad aspect ratios used in campaign flows (for example square and vertical). Prefer the ratio that matches the placement you plan to run.

What happens when you generate

  1. You pick a creative direction (or refine ideas) in the Operations chat. You can attach reference files with the paperclip, or mention products and videos with **@**.
  2. Ask for a **video brief** first if you want to review the storyboard. Asking for a brief does **not** spend video credits and does **not** render.
  3. Pick an allowed length (4 / 6 / 8 or extended 11 / 13 / 15).
  4. Explicitly say **go ahead** / **generate the video** / **render** to start rendering.
  5. Operations drafts a brief (if needed), then renders media. Wait for the creative card to finish — a brief alone is not a finished asset.
  6. For **11 / 13 / 15**, the platform runs one generate then one extend (+7s), then returns a single video.
  7. Preview variations, pick one, then continue to campaign setup.

Common problems

  • **Recommended a length outside 4, 6, 8, 11, 13, 15** — not available. Snap to the nearest allowed length and generate again.
  • **Asked for native 12s** — not supported. Use **11** or **13** (extended) instead.
  • **Creative card stuck or failed** — stop and retry the generate step, or use **8 seconds** without extend.
  • **Ideas without a file** — brainstorming does not render media. Say generate when you are ready for an asset.
